MP Larry Miller meets with Western Ontario Warden Caucus

Ottawa, ON – Recently, Larry Miller, MP for Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound, as well as several other Southwestern Ontario MPs, met with the Western Ontario Warden’s Caucus (WOWC) in regards to extending the reach of broadband services and high speed internet to the region of Southwestern Ontario.

The WOWC is a not-for-profit organization that represents fourteen counties in western Ontario for the purposes of enhancing the life of rural and small urban communities in this region. The meeting between the WOWC, Mr. Miller and other Southwestern Ontario MPs was in regards to access to broadband services for residents of this region and the importance of ensuring that access to high speed internet is a top priority moving forward.

 

“I was very happy to meet with the Western Ontario Warden’s Caucus to discuss the important initiative of broadband access in western Ontario,” said Miller. “With technology advancing every day it is important for rural residents to have access to this vital service that is readily available in urban areas.”

 

The meeting included Grey County Warden Duncan McKinlay as well as Grey County CAO Lance Thurston.
