New Horizons for Seniors Funding in Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound

Ottawa, ON – Larry Miller, MP for Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound, is pleased to announce that 13 community based projects will receive funding through the New Horizons for Seniors Program (NHSP) totalling $263,319.

The NHSP is a federal grants and contributions program that supports projects led or inspired by seniors who make a difference in the lives of others and their communities. The community projects are directed towards seniors and encourage seniors to share their knowledge, skills and experiences within their communities.

“I am very proud to announce that 13 projects to support seniors throughout Bruce and Grey Counties will be receiving funding through the New Horizons for Seniors Program,” said Miller. “Enhancing the lives of the senior members of our communities has been a top priority and it is great to see the dedication and leadership taken by those who are working on these important projects.”

Detailed releases will be distributed with specific values and project titles as presentations are made by Mr. Miller to the individual project organizers in the coming weeks.
