Partners in Process Receives Federal Funding
Owen Sound, ON – Larry Miller, MP for Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound, recently announced that the Partners in Process Equine Learning Centre will be receiving Federal Government funding through the Youth Justice Renewal Fund.
The Partners in Process Equine Learning Centre is a Non-Profit organization that was established to provide children, youth and young adults who are at risk or who have become involved with the Youth Criminal Justice System, alternative ways of dealing with their issues.
The Youth Justice Fund provides grants and contributions to projects that encourage a more effective youth justice system, respond to emerging youth justice issues and enable greater citizen and community participation in the youth justice system.
“The Partners in Process Equine Learning Centre does tremendous work in caring for and helping youth who have become involved with the Youth Criminal Justice System,” said Miller. “I am very pleased to see that this organization is receiving funding through the Youth Justice Fund to ensure that this program continues to help our youth in Bruce and Grey counties.”
Projects funded through the Youth Justice Fund are focused on youth between the ages of 12 and 17 that are currently in conflict with the law or justice professionals. The Fund will support projects up to the amount of $500,000 for a period of up to three years.
